Used barrels
We import and trade used French Oak / Wood Barrels of famous brands. The woods of the barrels are French (Allier, Nevers, Limousin, etc.), European (Slovenia, Caucasus) and American (Ohio) Oak and their capacities range from 225 liters, 300 liters, 350 liters, 400 liters. and 500 liters. They are usually used for a short time, 18 – 36 months. On these barrels our company carries out strict control and reconstruction before placing them on the market. (Τhe origin of the used barrels is from well-known French Barrels houses and differs from time to time, such as Seguin Moreau, Lafite, Vicard, L’ Adour Ermitage, Βerthomieu, Radoux κλπ.)
New barrels
Our company imports oak barrels from famous French houses. The new barrels are manufactured according to the wishes of the individual winemaker-client regarding oak quality, natural maturation (24-36 months), oak (French, American, European etc.) and finally baking (toast, medium toast, heavy toast). Our company represents the French House Giraud exclusively in Greece and Cyprus. Giraud managed to combine the tradition of hand-made oak barrels with innovation. In 2006, Giraud introduced the Black Head® barrels. Even for French standards, this global patent gave a unique new dimension to the oenological wine maturing process.
